Performance of Regenerative Relaying at Uplink of Multi-Antenna Access Point in Nakagami-m Fading

چکیده

Cooperative diversity is becoming an important means for improving link quality in relay based system. Relay selection plays a vital role in system performance. This paper investigates, the relay selection algorithm and location effect of supporting relay, on system performance. Multi-antenna can be deployed at the access point but maximum benefit is derived only under rich scattering. However, fading is always correlated in real scenario. So we explore, effect of correlation at multiantenna access point in the frame of cooperative diversity. The results of this study reported here, will be useful, in designing of such type of diversity system.
